Three of my favorite things; coffee, ice cream, and the beach! I couldn’t let this day go by without sharing a taste of this delicious coffee ice cream delight, Affogato. I chose the cappuccino chip ice cream to pair with the espresso and yes, it was amazing! Served at a local favorite cafe, The Kooky Coconut is located at the corner of 8th Avenue and Gulf Boulevard. This little beach-side oasis serves a variety of beach eats, perfect for breakfast or lunch on the sand.

Indian Rocks Beach is well known as a traditional, laid-back beach town, where charming single-family homes, beach cottages, and condominiums co-mingle as well as the surf and sand. HOME to many families who live and play here year-round, Indian Rocks is also a popular weekend retreat for Tampa Bay locals who escape the city on the weekends. It is a quiet escape for snowbirds in the winter, as well as weekly and monthly visitors on vacation during the spring and summer months. What I like most about Indian Rocks is the laid-back beachy vibe. While condominiums are present, and newer construction develops over time, there remains a glimpse of history, when life was much more simple. A time where the wind was the only air conditioning and outdoor showers were found at everyone’s back door! If you’re reading this page thinking about a home in this area, or if you’re a local moving to another dreamy location, contact me. I’d be happy to help make your dreams come true!
